Huge double-ended bath with electric shower over. Mirror cabinet over basin with lighting and anti-mist feature. Hanging space for wetsuits etc. Cupboard under basin, and larger cupboard for hanging mostly dry wetsuits, which also has space for clothes airers and boogie boards. Large heated towel rail. Ridiculous light pull. All this in quite a small space.
This was Simon's non-negotiable luxury during the refurb. Being part marine mammal he can happily spend several days in here if there's no surf.
As well as a sanctuary at night, the bathroom is also an extremely effective place to extract yourself from a wetsuit, dry & store it until the next session. That's good design.
Wetsuits etc. drip dry at the end of the bath & a seat makes extraction less risky.
Plenty of guest towels & damp wetsuits can be moved to the drying cupboard.
Loads of storage for all our damp gear.
But luxury is what it's all about.
