Lounge

Large 2-seater leather sofa, 2 Poang armchairs, footstools, a bean bag, more coffee tables than you can shake a stick at. Arrange to suit, and enjoy the view / TV / home cinema / record player / the jungle of house plants. Watch people falling off paddle boards through the telescope.

The ceiling mounted projector and excellent speakers will give you a truly cinematic experience (the curtains will shut out even the most determined sunset, but that is a bit of a waste of a nice sunset). There are also sheer curtains to reduce the goldfish bowl feeling, should it strike when you’re padding about in your dressing gown. Or be an exhibitionist – we’re not judging.

The room divider contains a collection of Blu-Rays, DVDs and CDs. Please don’t judge us.

The lounge sofa is large enough for an extra house guest to sleep over. Does lack privacy though.
Looking back past the dining area to the hall.
Yet another of Sarah's orchids looking photogenic in the sunset.
The only thing denied to us in our home is a real fire.Luckily we have an alternative.
"Why the large empty white wall?" you ask...
...well, how would we watch movies without a huge screen.
Every night is movie night for us.
Movies also have soundtracks. We can do that too.
Respect The VinylVinyl comes with rules. Not everybody gets to touch the vinyl or the turntable. Some people that have on occasions been granted permission to touch the vinyl have not been invited back.Sticky Fingers is a great album, but that is the only way they will ever get near our collection...
